2 oz. Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege Cognac
¾ oz. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice
¾ oz. Simple syrup
¼ tsp. Chinese five spice
5 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Add all ingredients to a shaker tin and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with a star anise cocktail cherry.
